Ebonylife TV Premieres 'Desperate Housewives Africa' April 30th
Those of you who have long been waiting for 'Desperate Housewives Africa' can now heave a sigh of relief as the local adaptation of the multiple award-winning ABC television drama hit series is going to be launched the 30th of April...and of course this year!
The series will exclusively air on Ebonylife TV Channel 165 on DSTV. But before then, a premiere of the series is expected in Lagos on April 28 where the new Desperate Housewives of Africa will be introduced together with the all-African suburban 'Wisteria Lane' neighbourhood where the series will be based.
The series will is expected to closely follow the American version but with an African touch.
Viewers can look forward to an enthralling Desperate Housewives format as you once knew it and to a scandalously new dimension.
One of the casts include Michelle Dede who portrays the character of Tari Gambadia. Her ultimate desperation is unknown at first as she competes for the attention of a new hunky neighbour who has his own ulterior motives.
Omotu Bissong also features in the series and stars as Funke Lawal who copes with life as a stay-at-home, fatigued mother of 4 boisterous children.
Don't forget to tune in on April 30th for the debuting of Desperate Housewives Africa.
