Following APC's victory in last Saturday's presidential and National Assembly elections fear has reportedly gripped the Peoples Democratic Party's candidates for the House of Assembly election in Kogi state.
Soirce say the PDP candidates had suddenly become jittery and were planning an aggressive grassroots mobilisation and campaign to enable them scale through at the elections.
One of the candidates, Dave Abuh, who is contesting the House of Assembly seat of Idah constituency, confessed that real work had to be done if the PDP were to make any impact during the elections.
Abuh blamed the executive for the PDP loss in the March 28 elections, and noted that the dissolution of the local governments' administrations in the state was a major snag.
"Since the sudden dissolution of the local government councils by a court last year, we knew that so many things would be happening to the party including the result of election we are witnessing in Kogi State today", he said.
Abuh asked all relevant interest groups within the Party to re-strategise for the April 11 elections to ensure victory.
