TAN Did Not Endorse Ambode For Lagos Governor - Ubah

Chairman of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) Dr. Ifaenyi Ubah, on Sunday denied that the organisation endorsed the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Akinwumi Ambode, for next Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria Dr. Ifaenyi Ubah, has denied that he had endorsed the APC candidate, Akinwumi Ambode, for the April 11 gubernatorial election.

He also debunked the rumour that TAN met with the Oba of Lagos, to endorse Ambode's candidacy.

Ubah, speaking at press conference in Lagos, said TAN is unwavering in its support for the PDP.

He also used the opportunity to allege threat to his life, his family members and his businesses in Lagos, because he had campaigned for the President Jonathan and Lagos PDP guber candidate, Jimi Agbaje.

"I have no regret for supporting President Jonathan and Agbaje. My position and that of TAN's support for the PDP has also not changed. Some persons have called; others have sent text messages to me saying my life and businesses is no longer safe. Some have quarried why am fighting the APC in Lagos."

He categorically stressed that he is still a PDP member and will remain so.
