Former Super Eagles winger Tijani Babaginda has charged Ahmed Musa to be consistent in goal scoring for him to be considered one of the best footballers in the world.
Babangida, chairman of Nigeria Professional Football League club side FC Taraba, extolled Musa for leading by example by scoring Nigeria's only goal as the captain in a 1-1 draw against South Africa in Nelspruit on Sunday.
"I am really impressed with the new Ahmed Musa, it shows that he is working really hard in his club and it is telling on his form of late," Babangida told Goal.
Babangida, former Ajax attacker, also advised the CSKA Moscow striker to work harder to convert his goal scoring chances so as to attract the interest of top teams in Europe.
"For him to really catch the eye of the big clubs, he needs to continue in this scoring form, because that is what most of these clubs are actually looking for.
"I want to say that his Russian club has really helped to improve his playing skills.
"And by the time he moves to one of the bigger clubs in Europe, he will be a better player for the Super Eagles and a big encouragement to the young and aspiring footballers in Nigeria and the Northern part of the country in particular."
